Amibroker Data Feed Installation Guide
Adding a feed of NSE data into AmiBroker takes about 15 minutes once you know the sequence. Follow the video below, or use the written steps underneath it.
Sign Up for a Free Trial
Click here and fill in your name, email, and mobile number. You will receive your login details (username and password) by email, usually within minutes.
Download AmiBroker
Download AmiBroker from the official website or from this link. Skip this step if you already have it installed. Download version 6.20 or 6.35 (we recommend the latest), then install it on your Windows PC.
Connect the Data Feeder to AmiBroker
- Download our data feed application (Market View) from this link and install it.
- Right-click the Market View desktop icon, go to Properties → Compatibility, and check "Run this program as administrator." Click "Change settings for all users" and enable it there too. Do the same for the AmiBroker desktop icon. Skipping this step is the most common reason the feed does not connect.
- Open Market View and turn on the "AmiBroker" toggle switch in the top bar. AmiBroker will open automatically in the background with a live chart.
Add Your Symbols
- In the Market Watch panel, click “+ Add” to open the symbol picker.
- Add symbols by category: Futures, Equity, Indices, Currency, Weekly Options, Monthly Options, Commodity, MCX Options, and more. Select what you need and confirm.
Backfill Your Data
- Click “Watchlist” to open your AmiBroker watchlist, which lists every symbol you added with “Today Fill” and “Back Fill” buttons.
- Set your Timeframe (1 minute or EOD) and the number of Days to backfill, then click “Today Fill All” and “Back Fill All.” Each symbol shows “Done” once loaded. A 10-day backfill window is a reasonable starting point.
That is it. Your charts in AmiBroker should now show live and historical data.
What Else the Feeder App Can Do
Beyond feeding AmiBroker, the Market View app works as its own charting tool, with built-in indicators across Trend, Momentum, Volatility, Volume, Support/Resistance, and Sessions categories, plus a few premium strategies, similar to TradingView, and it also supports MT4.

If Something Isn’t Working
The most common issue is a chart showing "Not enough data available" in AmiBroker. This almost always comes down to the administrator permissions in Step 3, or a symbol not backfilled yet in Step 5. If anything doesn’t go as expected at any point, please contact our support team, available 24/7 on WhatsApp and live chat.
